Generic QSFP-100G-LB Compatible 100Gbps QSFP28 0W 0dB Passive Loopback Testing Module
Dawnray’s QSFP-100G-LB is a 100Gbps Quad Small Form-factor Pluggable QSFP28 loopback module for cost effective 100GBASE Ethernet network port testing. QSFP28 LB routes 103.1Gb/s data stream from transmitting side back to receiving side of the same host port by looping back the electrical signal. This loopback is fully compliant with QSFP28 Multi-Source Agreement (MSA), IEEE 802.3bj 100GBASE-CR4 and CAUI-4 standard. The electrical interface is MSA compliant 38-pin edge type connector and the internal loopback by AC coupling internally. The QSFP28 loopback module implements 4 independent 25.78125Gbps transmit and receive signal channels in each differential trace for an aggregate 103.125Gbps data rate. A bicolor LED indicates the power status. MSA memory map is accessible via 2-wire (TWI/I2C) interface. Our loopback is designed for R&D evaluation, production testing of QSFP28 equipped network routers/switches, blade servers and adapter cards. Protocol-transparent design ensures widely compatibility with various signal standards, including 100 Gigabit Ethernet (100GbE), 4x EDR InfiniBand and proprietary interconnection.
