Juniper Networks QDD-400G-DAC-2P5M (720-088939) compatible DAC is a passive 400Gbps QSFP-DD to QSFP-DD direct attach cable for use in 400GBASE Ethernet network. QSFP-DD DAC provides 425Gb/s throughput for 2.5m interconnection with high speed twin-axial copper cable. This DAC is fully compliant with QSFP-DD Multi-Source Agreement (MSA), IEEE 802.3cd 400GBASE-CR8 and 400GAUI-8 standard. Its twin-axial copper cable’s wire gauge is 28AWG and pre-terminated with MSA compliant 76-pin edge type connectors. The DAC cable implements 8 independent 53.125Gbps PAM4 transmit and receive signal channels in each differential pair for an aggregate 425Gbps data rate. It also supports 8 channels 25.78125Gbps NRZ signals for 206.25Gbps interconnection. Standard length options cover from 0.5 meters to 3 meters. MSA memory map is accessible via 2-wire (TWI/I2C) interface. Our DACs are factory pre-programmed for compatibility, perform alternatively to genuine Juniper Networks QDD-400G-DAC-2P5M (720-088939) direct attach cables.
