Dawnray’s QD2Q-200G-DAC28-2M5 DAC is a passive 2x 200Gbps QSFP-DD to 2 QSFP56 direct attach breakout cable for use in 200GBASE Ethernet network. QSFP-DD breakout DAC provides 2x 212.5Gb/s throughput for 2.5m interconnection with high speed twin-axial copper cable. This DAC is fully compliant with QSFP-DD/QSFP56 Multi-Source Agreement (MSA), IEEE 802.3cd 200GBASE-CR4 and 200GAUI-4 standard. Its twin-axial copper cable’s wire gauge is 28AWG and pre-terminated with MSA compliant 76/38-pin edge type connectors. The breakout DAC cable splits 2 branches of 200Gbps PAM4 signals from QSFP-DD into QSFP56. It also supports 2x 100Gbps NRZ fanout application. Standard length options cover from 0.5 meters to 2.5 meters. MSA memory map is accessible via 2-wire (TWI/I2C) interface. Our breakout DACs are factory pre-programmed for compatibility, perform alternatively to generic/MSA direct attach cables.
