IBM Brocade 88Y6416 compatible optical transceiver is a dual fiber 8Gbps Small Form-factor Pluggable SFP+ module for use in 8G Fibre Channel network. SFP+ 8G-SW provides 8.5Gb/s throughput up to 150 meters over OM3 multi-mode fiber (MMF) using 850nm wavelength. This transceiver is fully compliant with SFP+ Multi-Source Agreement (MSA), FCIA FC-PI-4 800-M5E-SN-I and SFI standard. Its electrical interface is MSA compliant 20-pin edge type connector and the optical interface is Duplex LC connector. The full-duplex SFP+ transceiver features highly reliable VCSEL transmitter and PIN photo detector to offer high performance interconnection at 8.5Gbps data rate. Built-in Digital Diagnostic Monitoring/Digital Optical Monitoring (DDM/DOM) support is present for real-time performance monitoring via 2-wire (TWI/I2C) interface. Our modules are factory pre-programmed for compatibility, perform alternatively to genuine IBM Brocade 88Y6416 transceivers.
